John Ballard, PsyD is a highly effective, internationally experienced talent manager, leadership coach, and wealth compensation counselor with over ten years of business experience. He has experience in performing financial analysis, human resources outsourcing, strategic planning, executive coaching, business assessments, talent management, and organizational development initiatives. He has represented seven Fortune 500 and Forbes 2000 organizations and assisted numerous clients in achieving and protecting their dreams.
John’s extensive experience in education includes supervising undergraduate students both domestically and internationally. Furthermore, his academic experiences include assisting in curriculum development for the critically acclaimed “Hoop Dreams” documentary film, teaching groups of multi-national students abroad, and facilitating in implementing outreach programs in communities. He has a background in English teaching, curriculum development, and related activities as a former part-time faculty member of Sundai Language College in Tokyo, Japan.
He earned his Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University and a Doctorate in Psychology in Organizational Development from Alliant International University. He is also a licensed agent of the Department of Financial Services in New York. Additionally, he has a Graduate Certificate in Unix/C/C++ programming from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
The Martin Luther King Jr. Fellowship for Graduate performance and distinguished contributions to society was awarded to John, and he was granted the John D.O'Bryant Certificate of Achievement for outstanding community support. He has also been elected to deliver the introduction speeches for a variety of notable speakers such as Dr. Alvin Poussaint former Head of the Dept. of Psychiatry, at Harvard University & Angela Davis. John was born in New York City and received his high school education in New Jersey where he graduated from Notre Dame, high school as captain of the football team after he received scholarships to both Milford Academy in CT and the University of Maine. His hobbies include chess, reading, and martial arts. Currently, he resides in the greater New York City area and has appeared in Essence magazine. One of his most notable memories is of meeting the famous soccer player “Pele”.
